THE CALIFORNIA UNIFORM PUBLIC CONSTRUCTION COST
ACCOUNTING ACT
The
County of Sacramento operates under the California
Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act
(CUPCCAA). This Act allows the County to informally
bid small construction and maintenance projects
with estimated costs of $100,000 or less. Bid information
regarding these projects will be placed in the
following trade journals and locations approximately
ten days prior to bid opening:
· “Daily Pacific Builder” (F.W. Dodge)
· “Daily Construction Service, Northern California”
· “The Weekly Bulletin” (Sacto Builder’s Exchange)
· Placer County Builders Exchange
· Internet at http://www.saccountybids.com (this site also has bid results
and other useful information.)
If
you would like to have your firm added to our mailing
list to receive Notices to Contractors for CUPCCAA
projects, please provide the following information
concerning your firm:
1. Name and address
2. Telephone number and contact person name
3. Type of work your firm is interested and currently licensed
in California to do (earthwork, pipelines, electrical, painting,
general building, etc.)
4. Class of California contractor’s license(s) held by your
firm and license number(s)
